sessions and pricing
The therapy sessions will be 50 minutes, and we will agree on a consistent time every week that will work for both of us, whether you prefer a video call or a phone call.
Free 30-minute initial chat
In our initial phone call, we will introduce ourselves and discuss what brings you to therapy, as well as what you are hoping to gain from it. This will help us understand if we're right fit for each other before starting the therapy more actively

FAQs
01
What is online counselling?
Online counselling is a professional mental health service provided through a digital communication tool, such as video calls or phone calls. It offers the same level of confidentiality and professionalism as in-person therapy, but with added convenience and accessibility.
02
How does online counselling work?
When you send an email to Kei, he will aim to respond within 2 working days and suggest some options for when you could have your initial assessment. This will be an opportunity to discuss whether you are a good fit to work together, and for Kei to take some basic information. This will take around 30 minutes. Following this, you will agree on a time that works for both to have your counselling sessions, which Kei will send you a link to join.
03
Is online counselling effective?
Yes. Numerous studies show that online therapy can be just as effective as in-person therapy.
04
What issues can counselling help with?
I can cover a wide range of concerns, including:
Depression, Anxiety, Stress, Relationship issues, Family problems, Childhood, School/ university issues, Study & stress support, Identity, Eating disorder, Attachment issues, Shame, Life changes, Purpose, Grief, Addiction
05
How long is a session?
Sessions last 50 minutes.
06
Is my information confidential?
Absolutely. I use secure, encrypted communication tools and follow strict privacy guidelines. Your personal information and session content are never shared without your consent, except where required by law for safety reasons.
07
Do I need any special equipment?
All you need is:
- A reliable internet connection
- A smartphone, tablet, or computer
- A quiet, private space for your session

Headphones are optional but can increase privacy.
08
How long does therapy last?
This can and will differ between each client. Some people feel satisfied to end their therapy after a handful of sessions; however, other people can choose to stay with the same counsellor for years. If you feel as though you are ready to end your therapy, I will advise for us to choose a date to finish our work together.
09
How much does counselling cost?
I charge £35 per session and offer a reduced rate per bundle of 4 sessions for students, costing £120 for 4 sessions.
