FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. What is online counselling?
Online counselling is a professional mental health service provided through a digital communication tool, such as video calls or phone calls. It offers the same level of confidentiality and professionalism as in-person therapy, but with added convenience and accessibility.

2. How does online counselling work?
When you send an email to Kei, he will aim to respond within 2 working days and suggest some options for when you could have your initial assessment. This will be an opportunity to discuss whether you are a good fit to work together, and for Kei to take some basic information. This will take around 30 minutes. Following this, you will agree a time that works for both to have your counselling sessions, which Kei will send you a link to join.
3. Is online counselling effective?

All you need is:
- A reliable internet connection
- A smartphone, tablet, or computer

Headphones are optional but can increase privacy.

This can and will differ between each client. Some people feel satisfied to end their therapy after a handful of sessions, however, other people can choose to stay with the same counsellor for years. If you feel as though you are ready to end your therapy, I will advise for us to choose a date together to work towards our ending.
